Second analog photography photo walk and collaboration with amsterdam camera repairs

[ANNOUNCEMENT]

July 26th 2020
An Analog Photography Day in Amsterdam

Dear Analog Community,

As some of you might know on Friday, June 26th I organized Analog Club Amsterdam’s first informal photography meetup at short notice. Due to the warm weather, I closed the darkroom and I wanted to organize a little event in the open air for the analog community. So thanks to the power of social media, I wasn’t alone at the meeting point in the Beatrixpark and a shout out goes out to all attendees for making the first camera and drinks meetup a fun and pleasant one.

Now it is time for the second analog meetup; please block July 26th in your agenda

A 2-part Analog Photography Day

Our 2nd analog meetup day includes a collaboration with Amsterdam Camera Repairs. Yes, that’s right the repair place which puts new life in your precious analog cameras. The first Film Camera Clinic will be held! Part A is a photowalk and part B is a Film Camera Clinic.

If you want to JOIN please leave a comment on the Instagram post and sent me your mobile phone via Instagram DM so I can communicate with you during the photowalk.

Part A:
Photo Walk in Amsterdam
10:00 – 13:00

Our meeting point is near Amsterdam Central Station, address Oosterdokskade 4, across the Starbucks near this sign:

Analog Club Amsterdam Meetingpoint

We start walking at 10:00 and we finish our Photowalk at Analog Club Amsterdam Head Quarters.

Part B:

Amsterdam Camera Repairs

For Part B, Analog Club Amsterdam and Amsterdam Camera Repairs invites you to the first bi-annual Film Camera Clinic
This is an opportunity to connect with likeminded film photographers, both professional and amateur to talk film photography, cameras and kit, share knowledge and to have your cameras checked and tested by a trained camera technician. Alan from Amsterdam Camera Repairs will be on hand to give your film cameras, lenses, and equipment a health check and to answer any technical questions you might have.
We want to celebrate the thriving analogy photography community here in Amsterdam, so join us for an afternoon of drinks and camera talk.
