Title: 7 – 8 February 2018 | Paris
Time creeps into my dreams.
Breathe deep.
Fill your lungs with me.
These images come from series of photos that captures a walk during a 16 hour period, between the 7th
& 8th of February | 2018. I fell in love with this storm and its desire to show me the true beauty of the deserted city.
Title: Human Forms
Notes: Exploring the possible intertwinement of privacy and photography, the series Human Forms - almost approaching the tradition of Formalism in painting, aim to appeal to a natural form, stripped of irrelevant matter. The photographs result in forms that are expressive and elegant, without disclosing any identifiable traits of the individuals.
Dutch, born 1983
Title: Brouwersgracht Amsterdam, 2021
Notes: Cyanotype on watercolour paper
This print was made with a UV enlarger using the historic cyanotype process invented by Sir John Herschel in 1842.

Title: Caged Femine
Notes: /ˈfɛmɪn/ a blend of "feminine" and "vermin." This series explores the deconstruction of items perceived as female, presenting a reflection on the duality of being feminine. Symbolising the great care that feminine people put into perfecting their appearance, only to have it torn down in a society driven by toxic masculinity.
